When I was 6 years old, I suffered a traumatic brain injury.  When I was 14 my rehabilitation specialist suggested a song writing workshop to help me with some difficulties I was experiencing at school.  I wrote a song called “Smile” and I’d like to raise some money to support those who provide the hugely important rehabilitation and care to other children and adults who really need it following a brain injury.

My message to other Traumatic Brain Injury sufferers is, “Don’t ever give up, no matter what happens in life you can always find courage to “Smile”.  I never thought that one day I would have written a song but I have.  This has been an extremely hard thing for me to do in the beginning but together with all the amazing people I have come to know and worked with I found a way through creative rehabilitation and what I have learnt through all of this, is that together there is always a way for hope and happiness and most important of all to

SMILE

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to Jen, without whom, none of this would have happened or been possible, and to everyone who has been involved in my rehabilitation and this song.  Please give generously to help others who need the rehabilitation I have been so grateful for.
